Windows 98 Users For This One

I wonder how many man-hours went into designing this meaningless directive. You have seen it I'm sure when you shut down your computer for the day. Another 15 seconds and mine will shut down anyway. There is a simple way to get rid of this screen.

1.	Left click on Start
2.	Left click on Run
3.	Type "msconfig" (without the quotes)
4.	On the General tab you will click on the "Advanced" button on the lower right hand side of the panel
5.	Put a checkmark in the box beside "Disable fast shutdown"
6.	Before you click OK, close all programs that you have running and save any work you have up.
7.	Now return to the System Configuration Utility in your taskbar and click OK and OK. Your computer will inform you that you must restart your computer. Click OK
